This species is said to be rather abundant in Singapore - yet I've never noticed it before. It is a weak flyer and therefore kept close to the ground and rarely moved at all - a perfect subject for close-up photography!

Over the next week, I'll be posting my most recent pictures taken after a ~7km morning trek with two other chaps through one of MacRitchie's Forest Trails - from Rifle Range Rd to the MacRitchie Reservoir Park. Never walked that far in a while...
