The Crawling GalaxyPosted by Accio (Singapore, Singapore) on 10 April 2009 in Animal & Insect. Found this caterpillar feeding of a Anthurium plant. Its body was incredibly starry! It has now turned into a chrysalis. Hope to get a shot of the emerging winged-creature. Edit: Thanks to the impressively quick deductive skills of the Butterfly Interest Group (BIG) of the Nature Society of Singapore (NSS), the caterpillar has been identified to belong to the species Eupanacra elegantulus. It is a moth. Can't wait for it to emerge.
